Vrasidas Karalis is Sir Nicholas Laurantus Professor and Chair of Department for Modern Greek at the University of Sydney. He has published extensively on Greek political life, Greek cinema, European cinema, Byzantine historiography and contemporary political philosophy. Most recently, he has authored A History of Greek Cinemaand Recollections of Mr Manoly Lascaris.
