Message from the Lord Mayor of Melbourne

The City of Melbourne is proud to support the Antipodes 2020: Lonsdale Street Greek Festival – the
biggest Greek festival held outside of Greece.

Melbourne will be transformed into Little Athens during this much-loved, two day event. More than
100,000 people are expected to soak up the exciting atmosphere of this historic Greek precinct.

Please bring your family and friends along to enjoy free entertainment from more than 500 local and
international performers across three stages.

Treat yourself to an endless array of mouth-watering delights at more than 80 food stalls; think
scrumptious baklava, loukoumades, sizzling spits and crispy fried halloumi chips.

Work off your feasting by joining in on a dance workshop or the Zorba Til You Drop competition. There’s plenty of fun for young ones too with children’s rides and countless activities.

Don’t miss one of Melbourne’s biggest street parties to celebrate our Greek community and their undeniable contribution to our multicultural city.
