Dean Kalimniou is a Melbourne-born poet who writes his poetry in the Greek language while also being a prolific translator of poetry and prose into both English and Greek. He is also a journalist and cultural commentator at Neos Kosmos, where his English-language “Diatribe” column has been running since 2001, as well as a broadcaster on Greek-language station 3XY Radio Hellas.
