Stavros Messinis

Stavros Messinis is a multi award-winning journalist, photographer and poet. He studied journalism, photography, literature and art in Greece and Australia, and worked as a journalist and editor for various newspapers, magazines, as well as radio. He has published five collections of poetry in Greek, co-edited the bilingual anthology Reflections: Selected Works from the Greek Australian Literature (1988), as well as three books of photography. His book Dream State (2018) won the Best Photobook Design Award of the CCP Salon 2018 (Centre for Contemporary Photography), and was a finalist in the Australian and New Zealand Photobook Award.
