EVENT INFORMATION FOR OUR NEIGHBOURS 

On 23 and 24 February 2019, the Greek Community of Melbourne will be presenting the 32nd annual Lonsdale Street Greek Festival (aka ‘Antipodes’).

The award-winning festival is the largest celebration of Greek culture outside of Greece and is presented in the historic Greek Precinct of Melbourne, Lonsdale Street.

The Festival is a cosmopolitan venture featuring family friendly entertainment across 3 stages that feature; cooking demonstrations; dance; music; street theatre; children’s performances; competitions and lots of community  activity.

The Festival will start building at midnight on Friday 22 February and will have packed up by 5am on Monday 24 February.

The Festivals trading hours are 11AM to 11PM on Saturday and 10AM to 10PM on Sunday.

Bus routes have been diverted to nearby streets.   You can find out more about individual routes at ptv.vic.gov.au.
