A high-ranking delegation from the Hellenic Armed Forces will be in Australia this year to attend events for the 81st anniversary of the Battle of Crete.
As part of the delegation’s program of activities in Melbourne, the Cretan Federation of Australia and NZ, along with the Battle of Crete and Greece Commemorative Committee, has organised a presentation by Deputy Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, Vice Admiral Ioannis Drymousis on the current affairs and issues of the Hellenic Armed Forces and in Greece more generally. The presentation will be held as an open information forum; all members and friends of the Greek community are invited to attend. There will be time for questions from the audience. The presentation will be in Greek.
